Rosa Villanueva is a passionate storyteller, dedicated mother, and resilient advocate for student’s empowerment. Born and raised in a vibrant community celebrating diversity and strength, Rosa has always been inspired by the incredible women around her. With a background degree in, Social Science, Psychology and a deep commitment to uplifting others, she has spent years working in the Education Environment, supporting students and the community with bilingual services; helping find their voices, and support one another in their journeys.
As a writer, Rosa draws from her own life experiences, dealing with the complications of motherhood, marriage, and personal growth. In her debut book, Rosa Viva: Blooming Through the Thorns of Life, she weaves narratives of struggle and triumph, encouraging her readers to embrace their vulnerabilities and celebrate their resilience.
Rosa is also a devoted advocate for youth and education, striving to empower at promise student to dream boldly and pursue their passions. Her work extends beyond the pages of her book; she actively participates in community initiatives, workshops, and mentorship programs to gain knowledge and skills to become a better leader.
When she’s not writing, doing art or creating Cervelitas Candles, Rosa enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, Yirzely Hali, and her husband, her most significant sources of joy and inspiration. Rosa believes every woman’s story matters and hopes to ignite a spark of courage in others to bloom beautifully, despite life’s challenges.
