Rosa Viva Scholarship Fund
Scholarship Fund for Graduating Students of Bowman High School - Art Class
Mission
The Rosa Viva Scholarship Fund was created with a deep desire to provide opportunities for students who, like me, have discovered the life-changing power of education. This fund is dedicated to the graduating students of Bowman High School who have shown exceptional love and dedication for the arts. It is an act of faith in the potential of every young person-a commitment to those who dream big and, for various reasons, need the support to make their academic and artistic goals a reality.
Purpose
This fund represents more than just financial support. It is a beacon of hope for students who, despite the challenges they may face, have the courage to keep moving forward. Education changed my life, and I firmly believe it can do the same for each of these young people. As Rosa Viva, someone who grew up facing challenges, I want to offer the same opportunity I once had the chance to grow, learn, and overcome obstacles through the power of knowledge. Through this scholarship, my goal is to help students unlock their true potential and provide them with the tools they need for a future filled with success.
Slogan
“Education changes lives, just as it once changed mine.”
– Rosa Viva
This fund is a celebration of perseverance, passion for the arts, and the love of learning. Through it, I want to not only help finance education but also inspire young people to believe in themselves, fight for their dreams, and remember that, no matter the adversity, there is always a path to success.
How to Qualify for These Funds
The funds will be entrusted to the school counselors, who, along with the art teacher at Bowman High School, will work together to select the most deserving student. The selection will not be based solely on academic achievements but also on the student’s dedication, passion, and effort in the arts, as well as their financial need. The scholarship will be a reflection of each student’s unique potential, heart, and commitment to their education.
